How to Astral Project is operated by Rob Knott in the United Kingdom. The site processes information you choose to submit through the practical-notes signup and the questions and coaching form. With your consent, it also uses Google Analytics to understand use of the website. It does not currently offer public accounts, comments, advertising or audience profiling.

Who is responsible for your information

Rob Knott is the data controller for personal information submitted through this website. Privacy questions and data-rights requests can be sent through the contact form.

Practical-notes signup

The signup records your email address, consent and the page where you joined. This information is used to send practical astral projection methods, troubleshooting guidance, research notes and occasional updates about relevant books, workshops or services. The lawful basis is your consent. You can withdraw consent by using the unsubscribe link in any message or contacting the site.

Questions and coaching enquiries

The enquiry form records your name, email address, reason for contacting the site, optional experience level, message and confirmation that you have read this notice. These details are used to respond to your enquiry, understand recurring reader questions and manage expressions of interest in future coaching or workshops. The lawful basis is legitimate interests in responding to people who contact the site and developing the services they ask about. If an enquiry leads to a paid service, information may also be processed to take steps towards or perform a contract.

Where submissions are stored

Form submissions are processed and stored through Netlify Forms. Netlify may also process standard technical information such as IP address, browser details and timestamps for security, reliability and spam prevention. Hosting and form-processing providers may process information outside the United Kingdom; where that happens, the operator relies on the safeguards made available by those providers for lawful international transfers.

Website analytics

If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 processes information about visits and page interactions, including session statistics, approximate location, and browser and device information. First-party identifiers distinguish visitors and sessions. The lawful basis is consent. The Google tag remains blocked if you refuse, and you can withdraw consent at any time through cookie settings.

Who receives information

Information is not sold. It may be handled by providers that host the website, process forms, prevent spam or deliver emails, solely so they can provide those services. It may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect the site and its users.

Retention and your choices

Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe or the list is retired. General enquiries are normally reviewed after 24 months and deleted when they are no longer needed. Records connected to a contract or legal obligation may be retained for longer where necessary.
