A name for the apparently non-physical environment encountered during astral projection or astral travel.

What it means in practice
Accounts vary from close copies of ordinary surroundings to unfamiliar places with different spatial or symbolic qualities.
Calling it a plane does not establish that it is an objectively separate location. It is a label for a reported environment whose status remains unresolved.
